The Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) is a key institution in Pakistan’s capital markets. It operates as the only securities depository in the country under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). CDC offers several services, including Investor Account Services, Trustee & Custodial Services, and Business Process Outsourcing.

Job Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

CDC is looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization’s strategic growth and engage with stakeholders such as PSX, SECP, SBP, fund managers, and investors. The CEO will be responsible for implementing growth initiatives, enhancing shareholder value, and driving the long-term business plan.

Qualifications:

Member of a recognized professional accounting body or a postgraduate degree in finance, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of senior management experience, preferably as CEO of a large-scale organization in the financial services sector.
Demonstrated capacity to lead and manage stakeholders across capital markets.

Fit and Proper Criteria:
The candidate should meet the criteria outlined in the Central Depositories (Licensing and Operations) Regulations, 2016.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of financial management, project management tools, and Capital Market laws.
Expertise in emerging technologies like information security and RegTech.
Experience with implementing ERPs and managing Enterprise Risk Management systems.
Proven track record of brand building and market strategy development.
Understanding of Regional Capital Markets and depository companies.
